Editorial standards
The rules we hold ourselves to.
How we choose sources, what we will and will not claim, and how we handle conflicts and corrections.
Sources
- We start from official sources: the licensing authority or exam organiser, the test provider, and recognised clinical guideline bodies and standard textbooks.
- When an official page is not available to us, we use candidate reports or secondary sources and label the fact "reported". We never present a reported figure as official.
- Pass marks, question numbers and timings on this site are planning figures unless stated otherwise. Confirm them with the exam organiser before you book.
- Every practice question lists the references it was built from. Guides show the date they were last checked.
- We do not copy text from other prep providers or from real exams.
Medical claims
- Content here is for exam preparation. It is not clinical advice and does not replace your training, your employer's protocols or current official guidance.
- We do not claim that studying with Meddex will get you a pass, a licence or a job.
- We do not publish outcome statistics, pass rates or user numbers unless we can show how they were counted.
- Where guidelines differ by country or change over time, the explanation says which one we used.
Conflicts of interest
- Meddex earns money from subscriptions. That is our only interest in what you decide.
- We are independent of the DHA, Prometric, UAE University and NIHS, and no authority or exam body has approved our content.
- We do not accept payment to change how a guide describes an exam, a provider or a competitor.
Reviews and testimonials
We publish a learner quote only with the person's permission, and we mark it as verified. We do not write, edit for meaning or invent quotes, and we do not show star ratings until we can back them with real, collected reviews. See early access feedback.
Corrections
Mistakes are fixed as soon as we have checked the reference, and each fix is listed in the corrections log. To report one, write to hello@meddex.cc. For how questions are written and checked, read how we write questions.
