Where to confirm

DHA exam fee: where to confirm it.

Where DHA prints the fee, how to check it is current, and the refund rules, without a number that could go out of date.

Short answer: Meddex does not quote the DHA exam fee, because DHA sets it for each title and can change it. DHA prints a fee for every title in its CBT Guideline. Confirm the amount for your title in the guideline and in Sheryan before you budget, and note that DHA says exam fees are non-refundable.

Why Meddex does not quote the fee

Meddex is independent. DHA sets the fee, it differs between titles, and DHA can change it without notice. A figure copied here would be wrong the day DHA changes it, and you could budget from it. We also do not copy fee amounts from other websites, because we cannot check them.

Where the fee is printed

Use the source, not a summary.

  1. The DHA CBT Guideline. Each title has a header line with the duration, the number of questions, the code, the fee and the pass score. The cover shows when DHA last updated the document.
  2. Sheryan, the DHA licensing portal. It is where you create your account, copy your DHA unique ID, generate your eligibility ID and, in DHA's own steps, move on to schedule the exam. Check the amount you are asked to pay there against the guideline.
  3. DHA's professional licensing fee list. The Sheryan FAQ says licensing fees, including the primary source verification fee, are listed on a DHA page. The link in the FAQ returned a page not found message when we tried it on 16 October 2026, so look for the current fee page on the DHA website or ask DHA through Sheryan.

A budgeting checklist without amounts

Write the amount next to each line only after you have read it at the source.

  • Exam fee for your title (DHA CBT Guideline). Fees differ between titles.
  • Primary source verification through DataFlow. DHA lists this fee with its other professional licensing fees. A report transfer fee applies if you bring a report issued by another authority.
  • Other licensing service fees for your category (DHA fee list).
  • Any further attempt. DHA allows three attempts per position, so ask what applies if you need another sitting before you plan around it.
  • Your own costs: travel to a test centre, time off work and study materials.

Refunds, rescheduling and cancelled exams

The Manual for DHA Professional Assessment says fees are non-refundable. You can reschedule or cancel up to five calendar days before the exam date. A cancelled or missed exam is not counted as a failed attempt, and it is not refunded.

The Sheryan FAQ also says DHA may reject an application if the applicant does not respond for more than three months, and that the applicant then loses the right to a refund of the fees for that service.

How to check you have the current figure

A short routine before you pay.

  1. Open the current CBT Guideline from DHA and read the date on the cover.
  2. Find your exact title, because the fee belongs to the title and some titles sound alike.
  3. Compare it with what Sheryan asks you to pay. If they differ, ask DHA before you pay.
  4. Keep the payment receipt. The Sheryan FAQ says the receipt for any application is in the application in your account.
  5. Check again if your exam date moves a long way, because DHA can change fees without a new edition of the guideline.
