DHA exam dates and booking windows.
How booking works, what DHA says about availability and changes, and what it does not state.
Short answer: DHA does not publish a national calendar of computer-based exam dates in the documents we read. You book an appointment with Prometric using the Eligibility ID from your Sheryan account, subject to availability. Re-sits have no waiting period, and DHA says to reschedule at least five calendar days before. Check Prometric for slots.
How booking works
This is DHA's own sequence for the computer-based test (CBT), from its Manual for DHA Professional Assessment.
- Check that the name in your Sheryan account is correct, because it has to match your passport.
- Create your Sheryan account and apply for the exam. Sheryan gives you an Eligibility ID, which you need to complete the Prometric online booking.
- Book on Prometric's DHA site (prometric.com/DHA). You choose a centre and a time that is available.
- Pay online. The manual says the accepted cards with Prometric are American Express, MasterCard and Visa. The amount is set by DHA and printed in its guideline, and this page does not quote it.
- Arrive 30 minutes before the appointment, with your valid passport, for check-in and identity checks.
What DHA says about dates and availability
DHA says re-sits have no restriction on the time between attempts and are "according to assessment availability". The Sheryan FAQ says there is no grace period to take another assessment. DHA says a cancellation or a failure to attend is not counted as a failed attempt. DHA also says the CBT Guideline can change the content, format or pass score, so check the current guideline before you book.
DHA does not tell you which days, how many seats, or how far ahead appointments open. That depends on the centre and on Prometric, so the only way to see real slots is to go through the booking steps.
Changing or cancelling an appointment
DHA says you can reschedule or cancel the Prometric exam, and that it should be done five calendar days before the exam date, using the option on the Prometric site. The manual says Prometric collects a centre-specific charge for changing an appointment, and that exam fees are non-refundable, including rescheduling, cancellation and no show. If your passport name does not match Sheryan, contact DHA at least five days before the exam.
The oral assessment is different. It is booked through Sheryan and DHA confirms the date based on availability. The Licensing Manual allows one reschedule at no cost if it is requested more than five working days before the date.
What DHA does not state
Prometric's own DHA pages blocked our scripted access on 16 October 2026, as they did the day before, and we did not try to get around that. So anything only Prometric would say is below as not stated by DHA. Read the page that DHA's FAQ links to, in a browser, before you plan.
Not stated by DHA in the documents we read
- A fixed national calendar of CBT dates.
- How far ahead appointments open, or how many seats a centre has.
- Which centres and countries are available. DHA says "any Prometric centers across the globe".
- How long you wait for an appointment after you get your Eligibility ID.
- Anything on Prometric's own pages, which we could not read.
EMREE dates are different
EMREE is a different exam with different organisers. Its sittings are listed by the organiser on its own portal, and the EMREE guide says what we read there. Do not mix the two exam calendars.
